NEW EXTENSION CALCULATIONS

Extensions that exceed 25% glazing to floor area ratio require a SAP calculation to domonstate they do not lose more heat than a typical extension with glazing under the 25% rule.

There are a number of ways we can provide a pass rating through existing house upgrades or better glazing on the extension. get in contact to discuss more.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES

At the end of your new build or refubishment project you will require an offical energy rating. The EPC's rate your project on a scale from A to G just like any electrical product or car.

It also provides feedback on how to improve the enegy performance.

TM59 OVERHEATING CALCULATIONS

15th June 2022 saw the introduction of Approved Document O which requires a overheating analysis on all new dwellings.

This calculation is best undertaken at planning stage and is now common that planners are requiring them at the planning process inline with climate change polices.
